# Final summary — Shaker Customer Journey showcase

Consolidation completed 18–19 October 2026. The three redesign projects (Product Page, Shopping Cart, Checkout) now live under one Arabic RTL presentation platform with a shared design system, one navigation, and a verified test suite. No production WordPress or WooCommerce file was touched.

## 1. Work completed

| Step | Result |
|---|---|
| Discovery and inventory | `docs/project-inventory.md`: every file, feature, dependency and gap of the three projects as found |
| Migration plan | `docs/consolidation-plan.md`: folder mapping, path changes, navigation changes, risks, rollback |
| Restructuring | `product/`, `cart/`, `checkout/` flat at the root; 646 files before and after, none lost; concept file names unchanged |
| Shared design system | `assets/css/` (tokens, base, layout, navigation, components, dashboard) and `assets/js/` (journey-config, navigation, dashboard) documented in `docs/dashboard-design-system.md` |
| Root dashboard | New `index.html`: header, hero, journey diagram, module cards with concept counts from the registry, goals with implemented / partial / proposed status, concept index, scope, footer |
| Module dashboards | `product/index.html`, `cart/index.html`, `checkout/index.html` rebuilt on one skeleton with identical header, intro, concept cards, control toolbar, device preview, scenario table, evaluation matrix, recommendation, documents and footer; all stage-specific content and behaviour kept |
| Navigation | Home ↔ every stage in header and footer, active state, mobile menu; every concept keeps its link to its dashboard and gets a discreet «رحلة العميل» link in its demo chrome |
| Fixes to verified defects | Cart «proceed to checkout» link pointed at a folder that no longer exists → `../checkout/index.html`; cart tools used a stale base path; product and checkout tools now serve from the journey root so dashboards resolve `../assets`; dashboards no longer share one `localStorage` key |
| QA | `tools/qa_journey.py` (integrity, links, responsive at 8 widths, dashboards, navigation, prototype regression) plus re-runs of the three original suites; results in `docs/qa-report.md` |

`*/index.legacy.html` are the pre-consolidation dashboards, kept unlinked for reference and rollback. Module CSS/JS that only the legacy dashboards used (`product/assets/js/dashboard.js`, `cart/assets/js/comparison.js`, `cart/assets/css/comparison.css`) is kept; `product/assets/css/comparison.css` is still loaded by the product concepts.

## 3. Dashboard improvements

- One visual language: same brand header and footer, same hero, same concept cards (desktop + phone thumbnails, strengths / trade-offs, two actions), same control toolbar placed directly before the preview, same device frames (1440 / 820 / 390), same scenario table, same score component and matrix, same recommendation layout.
- Verified vs. subjective findings are labelled: «موثّق بالأدلة» on audit findings, «تقدير خبير» on matrices and recommendations.
- Preview: 1 to 3 frames of any concept, scenario synced to every frame (cart without reload via `postMessage`), state remembered per module, `?scenario=` deep links kept.
- Checkout gained card-size thumbnails captured from its own prototypes and a scenario table consistent with the other stages; product gained a full scenario table generated from its existing scenario list.

## 4. Preserved features

Every interaction listed in the inventory still works and is covered by the original suites re-run after the move: product gallery, variations, stock states, installation and delivery pricing, add-to-cart and buy-now simulations, compare, wishlist, recommendations and sticky bar; cart quantities, caps, remove/undo, coupons, VAT extraction, city and installation rules, gifts, recommendations, sticky CTA; checkout one-page / guided / premium flows, validation and error summaries, phone normalisation, city search, national address simulation, shipping and payment rules, coupons, installation per AC, timer, simulated success. Nothing was replaced by static images; all transactions remain simulated.

## 5. QA results (summary)

See `docs/qa-report.md` for the tables. Headline: all integrity, link, responsive (320–1920), dashboard, navigation and prototype-regression checks of the showcase pass; the cart (332 checks) and checkout (87 flows, 15 layout runs, axe) suites pass fully; the product suite passes its dashboard, layout and recommendation groups, with three pre-existing functional-group crashes that already appear in the project's own earlier run log and are unrelated to the consolidation.

## 6. How to launch the showcase

1. Serve the `shaker-journey` folder with any static server (WAMP: `http://localhost/reports/shaker-reports/shaker-journey/`; or `python -m http.server 8800 --bind 127.0.0.1` inside the folder). Opening `index.html` from disk also works.
2. Present from the home page: journey diagram → a stage → concept cards → interactive preview (switch scenario and device from the toolbar above it) → matrix → recommendation.
3. Open any concept full-screen with «فتح النموذج»; its demo bar returns to the dashboard or to the home page.

## 7. Future extensibility

- `assets/js/journey-config.js` is the single registry. A new stage is one entry (names, optional short `navLabel`, icon, dashboard path, thumbnails, concepts, goals) plus a folder built from any module dashboard skeleton; header, footer, journey diagram, cards, goals, concept index and the QA counts follow automatically. `kind: 'lifecycle'` renders a cross-journey layer instead of a numbered step.
- During this consolidation the project owner began adding two further stages (`thank-you/` and `emails/`) through exactly this mechanism; they are the owner's work in progress and are outside this consolidation's scope (their missing documents are listed in `docs/qa-report.md` as open items, not defects of the three consolidated modules).
